Elizabeth Olszewski
No matter what I have scheduled for the day, I’m still excited to get out of bed and come to work. My name is Elizabeth Olszewski and I’m an attorney at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. There are so many aspects of this job that I enjoy. When you put in all the work, all the time and energy, all the legal research to brief an argument, and then you have the opportunity to state your position in front of the judge, and when you walk out of that room and you’ve won, I don’t think there’s anything more exhilarating. I’m very competitive, and Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C., is the best, so I wanted to do work for the best so that someday I can be the best.
You have to become an investigator to investigate specifically those facts in those areas of negligence, and then you have to learn the medicine and the law and apply it all at once. I really appreciate the opportunity to be there for a client from the beginning of the process to the end and to see it all the way through. In personal injury and medical negligence, you’re able to help people of all different backgrounds, all different ethnicities, all different socioeconomic status, and I appreciate the opportunity to do so, so that everyone has the ability to say, “I had someone there for me. I had someone in my corner.” When a client comes back to you and says not only thank you for the end result, but thank you for being there for me every step of the way. When they’re able to say that you took away their anxiety during the entire process, that is something that I really take pride in.
