CHICAGO (October 26, 2022) – A Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard trial team was honored with a Trial Lawyer Excellence Award presented by the Jury Verdict Reporter, a division of Law Bulletin Publishing Company, at a by-invitation-only reception on Tuesday, October 25 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
Attorneys Patrick A. Salvi, Brian L. Salvi, and Eirene N. Salvi were recognized for obtaining “the Highest Reported Boone County Verdict or Settlement” in Estate of Pedro Pasillas-Sanchez, deceased, Estate of Pedro Pasillas-Delgado, deceased v Consolidated Materials Inc. (Case No.: 18 L-15).
The trial team obtained a $9 million jury verdict on behalf of the Pasillas family, who lost a father and 22-year-old son in a 2018 collision. The verdict is the highest on record in Boone County and represents one of the few civil jury trials that took place during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic.
