CHICAGO (January 14, 2020) – Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. is pleased to announce Jaclyn J. Kurth has been promoted to Associate Attorney after working as a law clerk at the firm for 3 years.
Prior to being named an associate attorney, Mrs. Kurth worked on numerous high-profile cases and trials as a law clerk. In her first trial with the firm, she assisted a team that obtained a $3 million wrongful death verdict in rural Illinois. Mrs. Kurth was also part of a legal team that earned a record-setting $4.5 million settlement in Walworth County, Wisconsin for a plaintiff who suffered catastrophic injuries in a school bus collision.

Mrs. Kurth received her Juris Doctor from UIC John Marshall Law School in 2020 with magna cum laude honors. During law school, Mrs. Kurth was on Moot Court Honors Council and worked as a Staff Editor for The John Marshall Law Review. In 2020, Mrs. Kurth authored an article, “Sufficiently in Conflict: The Reservation of Illinois Rule of Evidence 407,” that was published in The John Marshall Law Review.
Mrs. Kurth received her bachelor’s degree in English from Carroll University in 2017. Upon graduation from college, she earned the Gordon Folsom English Award.
Mrs. Kurth belongs to several national, state, and local legal organizations, including the Lake County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Wisconsin Association for Justice.
