Charity supported by Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C., chosen as charity partner for 2018 Rust-Oleum Championship

MUNDELEIN, Ill. (May 2, 2018) – The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) has been selected as a charity partner for the 2018 Rust-Oleum Championship for the third straight year.

The Rust-Oleum Championship is an event on the Web.com Tour, the pathway to the PGA TOUR. In 2018, over 156 golfers will participate in the event to vie for 50 PGA Tour Cards in front of an expected audience of 8,000 attendees. This year’s tournament will take place from June 7 through June 10 at Ivanhoe Club. Aside from offering a weekend of entertainment to spectators, The Rust-Oleum Championship is committed to giving back to the community and is partnering with local charities to make a meaningful impact throughout Northern Illinois.

As a charity partner for the tournament, 100 percent of all general admission ticket proceeds will directly support GLASA’s year-round, daily adaptive sports programming and provide financial assistance for over 63% of GLASA athletes through the Athlete Scholarship Fund.

The past 2 years of being involved in the tournament had an extremely positive effect on GLASA’s “Camp Trek” program through the exposure and financial support the organization received as a charity partner. Camp Trek is a week-long adaptive sports camp where GLASA’s youth athletes are paired up with able-bodied volunteer counselors to try a variety of adaptive sports and activities; including gold, fishing, tennis, judo, wheelchair basketball, water sports, and more.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:

To help support GLASA and its mission to “Let No One Sit on the Sidelines,” you can purchase a general admission ticket for $20 or a pavilion hospitality ticket for $100 through this link.
