Victim of Elmwood Park dog attack sues Palatine for not euthanizing dogs involved in first deadly attack

PALATINE, Ill. – Two dogs attacked an Elmwood Park woman while she was walking her dog, injuring both. The same two dogs also attacked a man and a woman in Palatine on May 24, causing bites and injuries and killing one of their dogs.

Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Elmwood Park victim, Aneta Heinz, against the Village of Palatine, the owner of the attacking dogs, Meleina Teodoro, and the owners of the Elmwood Park home where Teodoro and the dogs are living.
