CHICAGO (April 9, 2025) – A provisional settlement has been reached between Northwestern University and former student-athletes who filed lawsuits against the University for hazing and abuse within the athletic department.
In July 2023, attorneys Patrick A. Salvi II of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. and Parker G. Stinar of Stinar Gould Grieco & Hensley PLLC filed the first lawsuit in the litigation on behalf of a former Northwestern University football player who was subjected to sexualized hazing and physical abuse.
