CHICAGO – Salvi Schostok & Pritchard is still reeling from the loss of Elizabeth Olszewski. It hopes the creation of a scholarship in her name will keep her short, but impactful legal career blazing.
Olszewski, who died in a car crash on Feb. 9, 2020, was seven years into her career and a 2012 graduate of UIC John Marshall Law School. Salvi and the law school partnered to establish the Elizabeth Olszewski Memorial Scholarship, which will help incoming UIC Law students in the top 10% of applicants. It will give a preference to students from Wisconsin — Olszewski’s home state.
Patrick A. Salvi, the chairman and managing equity partner at Salvi Schostok & Pritchard, remembers a “hard-charging, ambitious and hard-working” attorney that was always there for her teammates.
