Chicago Daily Law Bulletin: Father awarded $3M after daughter’s death from pneumonia

DECATUR, Ill. (July 27, 2018) – A Macon County jury awarded $3 million Tuesday to the father of a 5-year-old girl who died of pneumonia after a blood transfusion at Decatur Memorial Hospital. The young girl’s father was represented by Terrence M. Quinn of Phillips Law Offices and at trial by Tara R. Devine of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C.
