CHICAGO (June 6, 2024) – On September 2, 2020, 10-year-old Da’Karia Spicer was a backseat passenger in a vehicle driven by her father, when a Chicago Police officer initiated an unauthorized motor vehicle pursuit of a car that had allegedly committed a traffic violation. Da’Karia was tragically killed in a catastrophic impact as the fleeing vehicle struck the vehicle she was in. The young girl’s family is represented by Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard attorneys Lance D.
