EVANSTON (June 28, 2024) – Thursday, a team lead by former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch released a report following a nearly yearlong investigation into reports of widespread hazing and abuse within Northwestern University’s athletic program. In the nearly 50-page report, the investigators looking into the claims found groups within the university tasked with conducting exit interviews, reporting, and investigating were not communicating effectively. The report offered a number of suggestions for improving the handling of these claims moving forward.
