PALATINE – Last week, 31-year-old Amanda Ingram took her beloved West Highland white Terrier named Casper for a walk near her Palatine home. She and Casper were viciously attacked by two large dogs — a pit bull mix and an Akita mix. Amanda suffered serious injuries and Casper did not survive the attack.
