Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. Gives Back

The attorneys and staff at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. live and work in the Chicagoland area and take pride in the community. They strive to give back in both the work they do, and through other civic activities. Some additional community involvement includes:

In honor of Michael Schostok, our firm joined forces with his friends and family members to establish the Michael Matters Foundation. The foundation exists to help brain tumor patients and their families manage incidental costs while they are focused on their treatment. To date, more than $350,000 has been donated and more than 180 families have been positively impacted by these funds.

Donating a garden dome to a nursing home to encourage visits during the pandemic – We donated a garden dome to the Columbia Health Care Center nursing home that gave residents the opportunity to safely visit with their loved ones during the coronavirus pandemic.

Running a virtual 10k in support of the Concussion Legacy Foundation – The Concussion Legacy Foundation is an organization that is working towards finding a cure for chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) while providing support and resources to those affected by concussions and CTE.

Making Narcan donations to fight the opioid epidemic – Our firm has donated funds to several Lake County police departments to purchase Narcan, a life-saving medication that can slow the effects of a drug overdose. Lake County is one of the first Illinois counties to provide Narcan to first responders, which has helped save more than 300 lives to date, according to the Chicago Tribune.
