On Wednesday, April 9, Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard attorneys Patrick A. Salvi II and Jennifer M. Cascio will present during a Trial Lawyers University webinar at 12:30 p.m. In the webinar, they will discuss various topics from their record-breaking $363 million jury verdict in their presentation “$363,000,000 Verdict: Toxic Tort, Carcinogen Causes Breast Cancer, ‘Kill Shots for Causation.'”
The jury verdict was obtained on behalf of a Willowbrook woman who developed breast cancer from breathing carcinogenic emissions from the medical device sterilization plant Sterigenics. The verdict was the largest jury verdict ever awarded to an individual plaintiff in Illinois history at the time of the trial.
