Tara Devine honored with Daily Herald Business Ledger’s Influential Women in Business Award

OAK BROOK, Ill. (November 5, 2019) – Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, P.C. is pleased to announce Lake County Managing Partner Tara R. Devine has been honored by the Daily Herald Business Ledger as a 2019 Influential Women in Business.

This year’s Influential Women in Business list includes 21 women who “excel in the business, civic and personal arenas.” Those considered for the awards were nominated by their peers and selected by a panel of Daily Herald Business Ledger executives.

The 21 honorees were honored at a lunch recognition reception and awards presentation at the Oak Brook Hills Resort on Friday, November 1. More than 200 people attended the event to celebrate the honorees and their success stories.

Profiles of all the honorees will appear in a special section of the Daily Herald Business Ledger’s December issue, which will be published on Dec. 16.

Tara R. Devine started her career with Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. as a law clerk in 2004 and was named the firm’s first female partner in 2011. She concentrates her practice in the areas of catastrophic personal injury, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and product liability cases. She has helped win several multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements, including a record-setting $148 million jury verdict in 2017 on behalf of a woman who was paralyzed when a pedestrian shelter fell on her at O’Hare International Airport.
