CHICAGO (March 8, 2018) – Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C., Associate Attorney Eirene N. Salvi has helped establish the Chicago Committee of the Japanese American Bar Association.
Ms. Salvi helped found the Chicago committee in 2018 along with Takayuki Ono of the Goldberg Kohn law firm. Together, Ms. Salvi and Mr. Ono serve as co-chairs of the organization. The goal of the Japanese American Bar Association is to provide a special forum for members of the legal profession with interests and ties to the Japanese American community to discuss issues, network, and serve our community.
“I am honored to play an integral role in this organization and help provide a special network for my fellow Japanese, Japanese-American, and Japanophile attorneys and law students,” Eirene N. Salvi said. “I can’t wait to see how the Chicago committee of the Japanese American Bar Association continues to grow and contribute to the city’s legal community.”
Wednesday night, the Japanese American Bar Association co-hosted an event with various local Asian-American bar associations to honor Judge Sandra Otaka’s memory at an inaugural Judicial Reception. More than 50 local judges attended the event.
