Patrick A. Salvi Given Prestigious Award by 19th Judicial Circuit Court Judges
Waukegan, IL - The judges of the 19th Judicial Circuit Court honored Patrick A. Salvi, Managing Partner of the law firm Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C., with their annual Liberty Bell Award in conjunction with Law Day held on Friday, April 27th at the Lake County Courthouse.
The award, presented in honor of Judge Thomas R. Smoker, who passed away in 2004, recognizes individuals and groups for their outstanding service and their dedication in furthering the administration of justice while also promoting civic responsibility.
In February of 2006, Mr. Salvi represented several of the Circuit Court judges in efforts to increase the number of judgeships to help alleviate Lake County's overcrowded courts. These efforts ultimately led to the Illinois legislature approving a new judicial seat for Lake County's court system. The additional seat will ease overcrowding and reduce the personnel strain on the legal system allowing the Circuit Court to achieve justice in a more timely and equitable fashion.
"It was truly an honor to represent these judges in this effort," said Patrick A. Salvi. "I sincerely find our Lake County judges to be among the finest in the country."
