Joseph M. Fusz joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2008. He concentrates his legal practice on cases concerning personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.

Mr. Fusz received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and his law degree from Loyola University – New Orleans School of Law. 

Prior to joining the office, Mr. Fusz was an Assistant State's Attorney in the High Tech Crimes Unit of the Lake County State's Attorney's Office in Waukegan, IL. Additionally, Mr. Fusz served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Captain.

Additional credentials and distinctions include:  memberships in the Lake County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Fusz Chairs the Young & New Lawyers Committee of the Lake County Bar Association.

Mr. Fusz is also active in the community. He currently serves as a Judge for the Lake County Teen Court Program, an alternative treatment program for first-time juvenile offenders. He is also on the Board of Directors with the Thomas Jefferson American Inn of Court, an organization that promotes ethics, professionalism, civility, and skills in the legal community.

Additionally, Mr. Fusz serves on the Advisory Board of Mary Pat Maddux Place , a program that provides transitional housing for homeless women and their children, and is a part-time adjunct professor in the Paralegal Studies Department of the College of Lake County.
